about our farming cooperative

Home Afarm Co-op is an Ohio-based cooperative operating on a nonprofit basis and located in Seaman, Ohio, about 90 minutes from Cincinnati. We are member-run and reinvest proceeds into our programs, facilities, partners, and mutual aid efforts. Our members contribute many offerings including farm products & cottage goods, camping experiences, events, land stewardship, and conservation. Come explore the wilderness, support the work of local producers, and enjoy dark sky camping for a cause.

Nestled atop a small foothill and surrounded by the forests of Tranquility Wildlife Area, our apiary and pastures are are atop a rolling Appalachian landscape rich in natural diversity. On our west-facing hillside, the swimming and fishing pond invites sunny afternoon dips, while shaded trails, foraging spots, scattered campsites, and open clearings offer space for stargazing, nature immersion, and gatherings under the sky.

We’re committed to making recreation safe and accessible for everyone—y’all means all. Whether you're hosting a big gay wedding, daring a firewalk, organizing a family reunion, or just stargazing with friends, Home Afarm is a place to feel free and at home. We strive to make our space safe and accessible to people of all abilities, identities, and backgrounds. Reach out if you have needs or questions—we want to welcome you.
